Striped Cavern Tomato (Solanum lycopersicum)
Unique square tomato, hollow, delicate, best for cooking.
This tomato is quite unique. It is slightly square-shaped, streaked with a paler orange, and features hollow lobes that look almost like caverns! It contains few seeds. Its skin is delicate and thin, and in our opinion it is better suited for cooking. CARE AND OTHER CONSIDERATIONS Gradually acclimate the plants to outdoor conditions about 10 days before planting by placing them outside during the day. When planting, lay the plants horizontally while gently bending the stem so that the leaves point upward.
